Two unique ways coffee leads us into friendship

Recap of October 2022
Our buying trip allowed us to connect with Mo again.

Thank you for praying for our friendship with Mo.
We were able to see him again on this buying trip to Marrakech. He speaks English and is always willing to engage. He actually gives a straight answers when we ask questions about the products.
Even if it doesn't make his product look good.
This is what we look for in a person of peace. Thank you for your continued prayers for our connection with him.
Our buying trip allowed us to make more friends through coffee

Our time in Marrakech coincided with a coffee competition.
It was the first ever National Aeropress Championship. Three of us competed and none of us won. :) But a Moroccan did(above) and he got to represent Morocco for the World Championship held in Canada.
Amazing how something like this can lead into new friendships.
October was time for another visa renewal.

If you didn't catch it in an earlier email, we need to do this every quarter.
We need to leave the country for at least a day to get our our entry visa renewed. This time we were able to meet up with Mandie's cousin and her family to share an Airbnb.
The above picture shows one way to safely corral five kiddos in an airport with long delays. LOL
We found a way to legally get our first batch of products to the states

We brought them in as luggage.
Ryan's family flew us in for his brother, Nolan's, wedding. Wonderful time with family. So life-giving to hug everyones necks and be together.
A side benefit is that we learned how to work with customs to bring in our goods as luggage.
Only cost $9!
That's the benefit of the free trade agreement between Morocco and USA. This is one of the reasons we decided to create this business platform.
We praise God for continued connection with my banker friend

Coffee is one thing, relationship is another.
Getting coffee is easy to ask. Next is being purposeful in conversation. I'm learning more about my friend's family and his father's work.
His dad is a mix of what we would see as a notary, attorney and private investigator.
When there is an issue between two people in the town, his dad makes sure that evidence that is being presented is true and real. He has people take oaths and he gets down to the bottom of things. He's a trusted man.
My banker friend wants to follow in his father's footsteps as a trusted man. This is also what we look for in a person of peace.
Please pray for my banker friend and our coffee times.
Lastly, we want to bring you into our neighborhood animal sighting fun

Here is a donkey who roamed our neighborhood during the month of October. LOL
Love in Christ,
Ryan & Mandie
P.S. I found out too late that the links didn't work in yesterday's email. I am sorry for this and have corrected them here.
We are so grateful to you for:
• Your prayers
• Your financial partnership

Thank you.
